Hello, today I am going to share 5 easy and effective tips with you so that you can get rid of mobile addiction. I also use these ways  and I can proudly say that if you follow these tips it will be surely beneficail to you. Please read full post and share it more. 

You know that we are the people of 21st century and I think in the present day a mobile phone is a device used by almost every person in the world and when I am writing this post around 45.4% of world's population is using smartphone. 

But... The main problem with smartphone is that they are becoming more and more addictive as the time passes. Especially children are more addictive to smartphone which is not good for them. Smartphone can be more good for children if they use it study related purpose.Although in current pandemic time mobile phone is a only way of study for children but overuse of mobile can be harmful Thats why this post is more children specific.

Now Lets look the ways of getting rid of mobile addiciton.


1. Get closer to Art & Craft


Whether you believe me or not but it is true that if you do art and craft on daily basis this will help you to utilise your time in doing something  good and intresting instead of playing games in mobile or computer and also enhance your creativity and artisit skills. You can do drawing or make props or some other things like origami and painting. Try it now for a week aside with your studies and if you become interested towards it you will surely notice that the time you use mobile will reduce.

2. Bind yourself in a proper Time-Table


One other way of reducing the usage of phone is to bind yourself in a proper and well managed time table that keeps you busy. By this you can minimize the usage of phone.

But.. the main problem with this approach is that most of you are the type of people like me who can't follow a proper time table. Now to solve this issue you can should to inform your parents about your plans of reducing usage of phone. For example if you set a time for 1 hour for playing game in your time table, and play game for more than 1 hour in this situation your mom will surely help you by snatching mobile from you. 

3. Mute all the Notification



In my opinion mobile games are not much harmful but social media apps like facebook, twitter are more addictive and children who don't need social  media are making their social media accounts and using them for irrelevant purposes. Now the thing that attract all the smartphone users towards social media is that small ping sound of mobile notification. And If you are really serious about reducing usage of smartphone, mute notifications now whether it is of whatsapp, facebook, youtube or any other app. 

Really, notifications is the main thing which attracts everyone towards smartphone. And this surely disturb you alot in the time when you are studying.

4. Try making one No-Smartphone day in every week



If you can, try making one day of week or one day of a month to be a no-smartphone day. On this day avoid using your smartphone, try to keep it switched off and lock it inside a box. Spend more time with your family or friends on this day, don't waste time in getting depressed without a phone. Live your life as usual and try to do art & craft in this day that I have tell you in Tip 1.

And If you don't want to do this you can take it as a challenge ["No Smartphone challenge"]. But if you are still one of those who can't live without phone you can minimize the time to 12 hours or more lesser.

5. Stop Playing Games



This is a tip for those who are mostly addictive to mobile games. I feel that mobile games are good and it is must for children to enhance their creativity but online games are becoming more and more harmful as the time passes. It is because children use mobile more to play games like PUBG, Free Fire which is not good for them. So the simple solution for this that stop playing this game for sometime, you can play them later when you realise that you can manage yourself. You can play games like Minecraft, Brain Out etc as these games makes you more creative and sharper. And the plus point of these mobile games is that they are not much harmful and addictive.


Points to Remember :

  • Follow these steps carefully.
  • Never think that you can leave habit of using smartphone in one or two days days.
  • Using smartphone for study related purposes will be good for you.
  • Don't hesitate to tell your parents about your plans of reducing smart phone usage, they will surely help you.
  • The best thing to do with your mobile is to keep learning new things.
